Dictionary of Applied Machine Learning

MCP server

The dictionary answers questions directly inside an AI assistant, over the Model Context Protocol. The server is read-only and needs no account: it serves the same 107 published entries as this site.

Endpoint

https://dictionaryofml.org/mcp — streamable HTTP, no authentication.

Connecting

In a client that takes a URL (claude.ai and other assistants that support custom connectors), add the address above. In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http dictionaryofml https://dictionaryofml.org/mcp

To run it on your own machine instead, over stdio, see the companion repository.

Tools

• list_all_terms — every term, name and key.
• lookup_term — one entry in full, by key or name.
• search_terms — keyword search over names and definitions.
• get_related_terms — the entry's cross-references, with their abstracts.

Without a client

The same content is a plain file: terms.json holds every entry, and llms.txt is the curated index for crawlers.
